The silk wall panelling in this summer dining room was specifically made to our exact design, using the name of the house as inspiration for the design content of a client’s main residence.

It is a unique hand-painted artwork. The scene is first hand-painted by a renowned classical Chinese artist depicting a climbing blossom. After hand-painting, the silk panels are then passed on to a team of embroiderers who further render the blossoms in the design in embroidery. The depth and variety of colours chosen for the embroidery really stand out to show the intricate detail of the design: each flower is hand stitched in un-spun silk with each flower taking 3 to 4 hours. The overall artwork has over 2000 hours of workmanship and is truly unique.

The refurbishment of the room is completed by handmade chandeliers with silk dyed shades, custom made sofas, lighting, rugs and soft furnishings to exacting design standards.
